Dan began his musical career on bass for The Morones, a local Portland band, at the age of 17.  At 18, he powered The Bond on guitar, and later The Wasted.  He then went on to bigger and better things as an original member of Severity.

Dan abuses Jackson guitars and Marshall amps, Lexicon effects, and a Crybaby wah.  You can hear Dan's writing skills in action on the thundering "False Prophets".
